As I unfolded the newspaper I was supposed to recycle, I came across an article about a student-led protest taking place at my school. There were about twenty students in the protest holding pride flags and signs that read things like “Bad Theology Killed Callie" and “Love Your LGBTQ Neighbor as Yourself".
